NBM was founded in Italy by Rachele and Christian in 2010. Shortly after that Maura, Irene and Paolo joined the editorial board.

We are passionate about travelling and have lived in different places all over the globe  - from the UK and Spain to the USA and New Zealand.

We also read a lot and watch films, take photographs and shoot videos. One of us is really into crochet and cross-stitching, another enjoys cooking; we also have a keen runner, a hiker and an aspiring bike mechanic. 

I checked it out but it’s all in Italian - help!
Yes, most articles on NBM are currently in Italian. We have plans to produce English-language versions of our posts about Italy, and various other things which may be of interest to an international readership, such as our pocket guides to Milan, Venice, Madrid, and - coming soon! - London, Bergamo, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bilbao, Berlin and Sydney.

So what can I do while I wait for you to go fully bilingual?
You can follow this tumblr. The word contents here are mostly in English. We post stuff about places we’ve been, places we dream of, and the people, things, plants and beasties who live there.

Or you could come to Italy and take a language course. The food is great and it never rains. (One of these things is not true.)
